Lenovo Idea Center A600

An addition to the Idea Center line of lenovo, a new all-in-one desktop has been shown last January 5, 2008.

The Idea Center A600 looks very modern and stylish. The first thing that you will notice is its 21.5 inch frameless screen that measures only 1″ at its slimmest point. The screen aspect ratio of the display is 16:9 which has 1920×1080 screen resolution that will give you a cinema like HD viewing experience.To add, it can also play blu-ray discs that just take home cinema viewing to a whole new level.

What would complement a display that is oh so gorgeous but a good speaker system that is also included with a bass subwoofer and is Dolby Home Theater certified. A digital TV tuner is also present if you prefer to watch some TV content into your desktop.

A remote controller is also included but unlike other controllers, it has motion drive feature that can detect movements which can be used for some gaming. Also, it can serve as a VOIP handset, TV and DVD remote, and can function as an “air mouse” that will allow you to control the cursor using the remote.

Aside from those, the Idea Center A600 has some serious hardware such as the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, ATI Radeon graphics card, up to 4gb of DDR3 memory and up to 1TB of HD space to contain all your photos, documents, videos and music.

Connectivity options include a high-speed wifi, USB and FirWire ports. The A600 also has a VeriFace facial recognition technology to enable the user’s face as a password to the computer.

The Idea Center A600 will have a starting MSRP of $999.
