Compulab Exeda

Apple’s OSX, Palm webOS, Symbian, Android and Windows Mobile are just some of the operating systems that you can choose from the array of smartphones available in the market today. But, wouldn’t it be better if you have the freedom to switch between operating systems? Well, the Compulab Exeda can! One of its features is the ability to switch between the Android and Windows Mobile operating system.

The Exeda has a 3.5″ VGA touch screen display that is bright enough to be readable even with daylight, a full 5 row QWERTY keyboard, and a capacitive touchpad that works like a mouse, same as the one present in the Samsung i780.

Being a smartphone targetted to business users, connectivity is a key factor to be considered. That’s why it has WiFi, Bluetooth, 2 USB ports, and an extension cable with ethernet port! Talk about being connected!

Other features are 2 megapixel with flash camera, GPS, 1gb of internal memory (2×512mb), 520MHz CPU and a micro SD slot with micro SDHC support. The Exeda also has a 3000mAh battery that is a high amount as compared to other cellphones, but its features are also loaded so it might just be sufficient.

There is still no price for the Exeda, but it is expected that it will be available in March.

The Exeda has a tagline of “a mobile device that means business” and it seems that they just really mean it.
